I was following the 2014 meeting of the Ecological Society of America  via twitter (#ESA2014) and this popped up.  AuthorAid seeks to “help authors in developing countries publish and otherwise communicate their work. It also serves as a wider global forum to discuss and disseminate research”.  There are also opportunities to serve as a mentor if you are interested in getting involved.

I’m still learning about the program, but it seems like it could be really useful to many of the scientists interested in publish in in Biotropica. Check it out and let me know what you think! And if you have participated or gotten mentorship, please let us know about your experiences in the comments.
